MIZER'S LEGACY CONTINUES, THANKS TO YOU!
Thank you! We are humbled by your caring and generosity for Bob Mizer and the legacy he left behind.
In preparation for the new DVD compilations that we'll be putting together this year with our 2014 Kickstarter fundraiser, our volunteers have started to count. The inventory of almost 200 boxes of film reels has been progressing at a good pace, about 50 hours have been logged so far this past month and we are about halfway through.
We are recording not only Mizer's film catalog numbers and titles, but also taking data such as the film format, type of sound, and whether the reels are camera negatives, work prints for editing, master prints, or stock inventory that Mizer sold. All this information will be noted in the Foundation's artifact database as a first-round inventory.
