The Bob Mizer Foundation last week launched PosingStrap.TV, a video streaming service that allows viewing of vintage physique films on its website, phones, and smart TVs. The Bob Mizer Foundation holds the world’s largest repository of original moving images documenting the twentieth century underground male physique photographic movement.
Volunteers worked for months to digitize scores of Bob Mizer's original 16mm camera negative films and ready them for online presentation. The current selection of content includes solo posing and wrestling movies, as well as Mizer’s full length story films. The films cover the 1950s through the 1970s, and all clips are arranged by category for ease of navigation. The website will add one unique video per week, and more than 100 films are offered on the website now.
From the homepage, visitors may subscribe, as well as watch a related trailer.
The trailer features clips from a selection of the films currently offered to subscribers.
The selection of films span the 1950s through then 1970s, both color and black and white.
The best part? You can enjoy Posingstrap.tv's films anywhere and at anytime. The site is compatible with smart TVs, cell phones, tablets, and desktop computers alike.
Recurring subscriptions now cost only $12.99 per month, or you can save and buy an entire year at once for $129.99. Subscribers may cancel at anytime.
As a member, once you're logged in, you can browse our selection of films by category, such as wrestling or uniforms. Some models, such as Jim Paris and Monte Hanson, have even been given their own category as well.
You can even learn more about the background and growth of male physique photography and the history of the Bob Mizer Foundation from our president and CEO, Dennis Bell.
